Nothing will change for the better. You can be damn sure some people will feel the effect this will bring on their way of living. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Yeah I know but you know 3% isnt the majority which is what goes to disabled people.
I get it my comment was harsh but seriously just check the mechanics, exploitation and loopholes around benefits, the ONLY reason labour promotes it is because in the end they get the most benefits.
Conservatives as the name suggests prefers to conserve, both parties are corrupt and messed up but at least conservative has the deceny to admit it is all about the commercial sector.
Check, gasp reply ;)
As someone who is very close to someone on benefits because of Multiple sclerosis I know very well how it is. They are called in regularly for benefit checks and medical exams to make sure that its not all bull****. They're under enough stress as it is as a single parent as well which makes things worse.
But hey, some folks somewhere can't be arsed getting jobs, and some benefits agencies aren't doing their job in chasing up people who are on the Dole yet not active seeking work, so those who genuinely are going to suffer because of this are to be damned regardless, eh?

As someone who was on the new deal (and only because I fought to get on it) I can safely say that out of the 12 people there I was the only one there wanting to find work...
I milked the system for about 9 months a few years ago. It was easy to leave my job and get paid for doing nothing AND get my council tax and rent payed.
I had no intention at all of getting a job. It was so easy. IF I had been made to do community work for even 3 days a week to be entitled to benefits then I would never have have even entertained the idea.
But seeing as I had paid in to the system for years on end and got next to nothing back (ok so my bins get emptied) I felt it was my right to claim some of that money back.
They should also scrap all child benefit and introduce a 'burden' tax on anyone who has more than one child per adult (ie 3 or more children for a couple or 2 or more children for a single parent)
I could type out a load of points on why I think you're an idiot, but since you seem to think that putting no effort into things is cool, I'm just going to state you're an idiot. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008
